Goodbye, SMHooligans... Hello, Two Wheel Life!

Sooooooooo... what happened?

Well, it had been some time that I updated SMHooligans.com and I kinda abandoned it as I've been concentrating on work, my career and other things. Due to liability risk, I also stopped hosting the track days, and things really slowed down with the SuperMoto scene as far as SMH was concerned. I've focused my riding mainly on solo riding my DRZ-400SM or dirt riding with Kelly. Most importantly, we're getting married this fall, so I've really shifted priorities. I guess that's the way life goes, huh?

On top of all that, some a-hole hacked SMH and deposited a nice heaping pile of virus infested fecal matter, so when visitors came onto the site, their computer got infected. BTW, I think I may know who the culprit(s) may be, so if you're reading this, I'm onto you!

After giving it some thought, rather than dropping SMH altogether, I decided to create a lifestyle site dedicated to all the things that my close buddies and I were into. I've been dilly-dallying in all kinds of stuff: BMX, cycling, dirt riding and SuperMoto. Heck, I even built a custom Cafe' Racer out of a 1981 CB650C. Looking back, I noticed that I wasn't the only dude in his 30's into the same stuff I was... there really just wasn't a site that brought it all together.

So, that's when I decided to create Two Wheel Life, a site for guys like me and my friends who are down for anything on two wheels. Like SMH, I'm still sticking to the street scene as opposed to the race scene - I think that there are plenty of sites that do that. With Two Wheel Life, the focus will be on lifestyle, whether it be motor or human powered bikes. And with weblogging, I can get info out to visitors faster than ever, announcing rides, BMX and dirt jump sessions, street sessions, events, sales and promotions, etc.

So, sit back, enjoy and let's ride!
